When the mother of Edith and Rune first encountered her two Bull Terrier pups, she could hardly foresee the amusement they would bring into her life! The trio shares endless joy and they truly become the center of attention wherever they venture.
Edith, a pro at making friends, perpetually astonishes her mom with her sociable demeanor. One day, however, this comical pooch initiated quite the spectacle by befriending the most unexpected companion!
Edith’s Amusing Encounter
Edith adores spending time outdoors with her mom. However, there are specific guidelines that must be adhered to!
“She enjoys her walks, as long as it’s not too dark, cold, or rainy. And yes, you guessed it, she’s not particularly fond of ideal weather conditions either,” her mom shared on Instagram.
On one lovely afternoon, the conditions were just right. Edith and her momme were taking their usual stroll by the canal when something unusual caught their attention.
Edith spotted what seemed to be another dog across the canal and immediately sprang into action!
Excitedly, she greeted her “unexpected friend” with a vigorous tail wag and began jumping and running around. Much to her surprise, her peculiar playmate mirrored her actions perfectly!
Edith was racing her “partner” across the canal. What she didn’t realize, however, was that she was actually racing her own shadow!
Delighted by her amusing dog’s antics, her mom recorded the “encounter” and uploaded it to Instagram. Soon after, Edith’s race brought laughter to thousands!
“Ready for a race? I’m game!” she playfully captioned the video.
Fortunately, Edith didn’t attempt to splash across the river, as she tends to avoid water and anything damp.
Living Life to the Fullest
Edith is a constant source of laughter for her mom.
Together with her brother Rune, it’s their mission to keep the family entertained – without fail! These two furry companions always manage to find creative ways to liven up the household, leaving their humans completely smitten.
Nevertheless, it’s not just Edith’s sociable nature that endears her to her family. She possesses other amusing traits that keep her humans in constant stitches!
For example, did you know that Edith puts her foot down when it comes to her bed after 7 PM? No one is allowed on it. And she insists on having her very own place at the dinner table!
That’s the delightful essence of Edith!
“She has her moods after 7 PM (no other dogs, including Rune, can occupy her bed), requests her own seat at the dining table, is vocal—especially when unhappy, wants something, or is merely bored,” her mom disclosed.
Life with Edith is consistently full of surprises, and her mom appreciates it. One thing is certain—she wouldn’t have it any other way!
