Having been a dog owner in the past, I can attest that one of the most challenging aspects was the need to constantly monitor them to prevent any injuries.
Dogs are quite similar to toddlers; the entire world serves as their playground, and they delight in exploring everything in their path.
However, this adventurous spirit comes with a downside: their unpredictable actions can sometimes lead them into trouble.
Cloud experienced such a situation while playing outdoors with her puppy siblings when she got stung by a bee. Thankfully, her foster mom quickly recognized what had happened and rushed to check on her.
The Story of Cloud

Jean first encountered Cloud via Hope Animal Rescue in North Carolina. The rescue organization found her alongside the other puppies.
All the puppies required foster care, but finding a temporary home for all nine proved to be quite a challenge.
Initially, they inquired if Jean could foster Cloud, but due to her upcoming trip, she was uncertain if that was feasible, especially since there were no alternatives for temporary fostering.
However, as is often the case, plans changed, and Jean made a significant decision at the last moment.

She shared with GeoBeats Animals: “I initially thought I couldn’t because finding a temporary home for nine puppies seemed impossible. However, I ultimately decided that getting these puppies was more important than my planned trip to visit my sister-in-law.”
Jean and her husband took in all nine puppies and soon realized that adjustments needed to be made for everyone’s comfort.
Her husband built a special structure, now serving as a home for the puppies, and he ensured it was equipped with electricity for air conditioning.
The Incident with the Bee

The yard surrounding their home quickly became a wonderful playground for the puppies. Just as they were beginning to feel established, a concerning event took place.
While frolicking in the yard, Cloud was stung by a bee. Her foster mom detected the issue almost immediately and drove her to a veterinary clinic in North Carolina.
Upon arrival, the veterinarians assessed her condition and determined she needed to stay for the day. However, the situation didn’t stop there.

Jean discovered: “When I returned, I noticed two of the other puppies appeared to have been bitten as well, which my husband hadn’t spotted.”
They were also promptly taken to the emergency room, but the veterinarians reassured them that the situation was not severe. All they needed was a dose of Benadryl, which would aid their recovery.
After the veterinary checks, Jean saw that Cloud’s face was still swollen and progress seemed minimal.

The veterinarians assured her that it was alright for the puppy to return home, as her treatment would continue there, ensuring her recovery.
Jean diligently administered Benadryl, and by the following morning, visible improvements were noted. Cloud’s swelling decreased, and she returned to her lively self.
While it’s unclear if Cloud and her siblings have secured their forever homes, I believe their rescuers are doing everything possible to provide them with a bright future.
