Little puppies are undoubtedly some of the most innocent and charming creatures in the world. Simply spotting them can lift anyone’s spirits.
Their joyful and playful nature is so contagious that it’s hard to resist wanting to adopt them.
In this tale, we’ll discuss two abandoned puppies who were left to fend for themselves until a compassionate woman came to their rescue.
Two Adorable Furry Friends
While walking her dog, Ashley, noticed an abandoned house and found something surprising.
There were two tiny puppies frolicking in the yard.
She recounted to The Dodo: “I was in shock and couldn’t believe there were two puppies running around, quickly followed by a sense of panic as I felt responsible for their well-being!”

Ashley lingered for a while, realizing that no one seemed to be coming for the puppies, leading her to conclude that they were indeed abandoned.
Determined to help, she took her dog back home and returned to assist the puppies.
Feeling anxious that they might be gone, she rushed back.
Once she brought the puppies home, she provided them with delicious food and fresh water. As they dined, she affectionately named them Tempura and Panko and planned a visit to the vet.
She shared: “Tempura is a playful little troublemaker who loves to pilfer any toy that Edi is playing with. Panko is an affectionate cuddle bug who happily exchanges kisses for chin scratches. They both are incredibly intelligent.”
A Safe and Cozy Home for the Puppies
Ashley reached out to her local animal shelter to inquire if anyone was searching for the puppies. Unfortunately, there were no reports of lost puppies.
It was a done deal. Ashley initially took them in as a foster, with Edi helping her care for them and finding them a permanent home.
She remarked: “Each day I spend with them makes me think there’s no way I could part with either one. Edi adores them, and she excels at keeping them entertained and well-behaved. Edi is such a wonderful companion.”
As time went on, Ashley’s followers on TikTok began requesting updates on Tempura and Panko.

She recognized that she had forged an unbreakable bond with them and that letting them go was not an option, so Ashley officially adopted them as her own and shared the joyous news on TikTok.
This was the best decision for them, as they now have a loving and secure home with an older sibling ready to care for them and treat them well.
They didn’t deserve to be deserted in front of an empty house, but that unfortunate incident ultimately brought them the beautiful life they now enjoy. I couldn’t be happier for them.
