Wisconsin Owner Shocked to Discover What Her Dog Did While She Was Gone

Date:

Anyone who has ever left their dog alone knows how mischievous they can be. This behavior can stem from anxiety or simply from being a bit naughty. Interestingly, many dogs are aware that tearing things up might lead to trouble, yet it seems they can’t resist the urge. While this can be problematic at times, it often ends up being hilarious, making it essential to keep a light-hearted perspective.

This curiosity led a Wisconsin owner, Alexis Orlopp, to wonder what her Dachshund, Lambo, did when she was away. The answer shocked her when she returned home.

A Mischievous Pup

Initially, when she bought dog-friendly steps for Lambo, she believed they would help him get on the couch. At first, he used them as intended, making Alexis happy. However, that happiness was short-lived.

After leaving home for just ten minutes, she returned to find a completely different scene. Lambo had managed to tear off some parts of the dog steps, and he tried to feign innocence, but Alexis was having none of it. She playful dubbed his antics as ‘arts and crafts’ in her house. Determined to capture his guilt on camera, she recorded the playful mess.

Hilarious Reactions

After sharing her video on TikTok, Alexis was amazed to see it gain considerable attention, with viewers eagerly reacting. One user noted, “It’s always the trembles when they KNOW they did something wrong.” It’s a common sentiment; dogs often act without considering the consequences, seemingly aware that they might be in trouble yet choosing to indulge anyway.

Another comment humorously observed, “Dachshunds will do anything to not use stairs to get up and down from furniture. Including eating the stairs.” This sentiment resonates with many, highlighting the nature of these playful pups.

Finally, another user humorously remarked, “He’s like I told you I wasn’t going to use those! They are for little dogs and I’m a big dog.” It seems Lambo may very well believe that he is too big for steps meant for smaller dogs.

This entire situation not only showcases the charm of mischievous pups but also highlights how simple moments like these can brighten one’s day.
