Explorers are individuals who thrive on discovering new and unusual experiences, driving their passion for adventure. This spirit led a group of young explorers from Chicago, known as LordExplores, to embark on a journey to reveal the histories of abandoned sites across the country.
On one particular excursion, they eagerly entered an abandoned hospital near Chicago. Shortly after their arrival, they were startled by barking noises, which compelled them to vacate the premises.
“Get The Hell Out”
As the urban explorers ventured further into the hospital, the eerie barking led them to a room where they were taken aback to see dogs crawling on their hind legs and barking fervently behind the glass, appearing agitated as if they had encountered something frightening. Initially, the explorers assumed the dogs were abandoned; however, the presence of supplies and a chair blocking the door hinted that someone was living there.
In an Instagram video shared by @lordexplores on November 2, 2024, a voice can be heard exclaiming, “Get the hell out,” prompting them to hurriedly exit the building.
This intriguing video garnered significant attention, leading to a flurry of comments from perplexed Instagram users. One user questioned, “Could it be kidnapped dogs kept in there?” while another remarked, “Obviously it’s not abandoned.” A third user pressed for clarification, saying, “What is the update with the dogs!!!!!”
Mysterious Update
Shortly after, @lordexplores posted an update video addressing the concerns raised in the comments. While recounting his fright, he reassured viewers that the dogs were not in danger and appeared healthy and well-fed. However, upon reviewing the footage, he noted a peculiar detail: one dog consistently looked away while barking, suggesting that someone was present in the room with them.
Despite the heightened curiosity from Instagram users following the explorer’s revelations, it remains unlikely that the mystery will be unraveled soon. Remarkably, when the explorer returned to the abandoned hospital a few days later to provide the dogs with food and water, the room was empty. The true fate of the animals remains unknown.
