I admit, being a rescuer is not an easy job. Rescuers face a multitude of challenges daily, which can be incredibly stressful, even as they create so many positive outcomes for our furry companions.
In this instance, rescuers in California managed to save a delightful puppy, finding him a loving forever home. However, prior to the official adoption, they needed to secure a foster home, which they accomplished by reaching out to the perfect person.
How Can She Say No?
Whenever Hannah Jones receives a call from Kern County Animal Shelter, it’s typically a request to help foster a puppy. Almost every time, her answer is yes—how could anyone resist a sweet puppy?
Recognizing her kindness and compassion, the shelter staff has made her their go-to foster volunteer.
When the shelter contacted her to foster a puppy named Moo Deng—whom she named because he reminded her of a baby pygmy hippo—Hannah was quick to respond. The puppy’s first action upon getting into her car was to curl up in her lap and fall asleep, sealing the bond instantly.
