Don’t judge a book by its cover. In Belle’s words, don’t judge a dog by its rough past! This sweet Husky is anything but ordinary. After living on the edge for who knows how long (and where), she has finally found her ideal home with a lovely family. But that’s not what makes her so special!
Belle, a tough-looking pup, is something of a bunny whisperer! She adores these sweet bundles of joy and occasionally sneaks into their crate just to ask for cuddle time.
Belle Had A Rough Past
Before becoming a beloved family member, Belle had a very difficult past. She was once a street dog, wandering around in search of food and shelter. When Minnesota animal control finally found her, she was curled up on the ground, not just as a mere dog but as a protector for a tiny blind dog she was keeping warm.
When animal control picked her up, she growled at anyone who approached, often mistaken for aggression. But in reality, she was just trying to defend her little friend.
Fortunately, a Minnesota rescue organization helped Belle, bringing her to a caring foster home where Stephanie Easley and her family welcomed her with open arms. They soon realized she wouldn’t just be a foster pup!
During her time with Stephanie, Belle formed a strong bond with her new humans and fell in love with the bunnies Stephanie cared for, showcasing her special appreciation for small creatures.
“It was incredible. She’d immediately start kissing the bunnies. She gets so excited when they’re around,” Stephanie Easley told Cuddle Buddies. This special connection made her the family’s sweetest princess, and soon enough, everyone fell in love with her charming and mischievous adventures!

Belle is head over heels for all the bunnies! Deep down, she embodies a natural caregiver, sneaking into their tiny enclosure for close cuddles. She is affected by bunny fever!

Belle is truly one of a kind. Once misjudged as aggressive, she has proven to be genuinely kindhearted. Far from being aggressive or unlovable, Belle is a loving caregiver who would do anything to protect her little friends.
“Belle has really showed us her good side in ways that are unexpected…and it’s exciting for us because she was the ‘bad girl’ and she was supposed to be the ‘unlovable.’ We got really lucky with her, and she’s been worth it a million times over,” her mom added.
Recognizing how important she became to the family, Stephanie made the heartfelt decision to give Belle a forever home! Today, she’s happier than ever, chasing bunny adventures and enjoying a life that is far from unloved!
