As a rescuer stepped outside into the relentless downpour, they spotted a figure taking shelter beneath a vehicle.
Leaning closer, their heart sank as they discovered two puppies huddled together, shivering and seeking warmth in the icy conditions.
Recognizing the urgency, the Good Samaritan understood these pups needed immediate help. But a pressing question lingered—where was their mother?
Rescue Mission

Determined, the rescuer decided they could not leave these helpless pups alone in the storm and chose to stay by their side until the rain subsided, allowing them to come out.
Assuming the puppies were hungry, they provided the little ones with some delicious food to fill their bellies.
After a two-hour wait, the rescuer spotted another dog resting under a vehicle. It became clear that this was their mother.

Sadly, the mother dog displayed an evident lack of trust towards the rescuer, often running away at their approach.
Thus, the rescuer called for additional help.
The small team successfully managed to confine the little family in a kennel, where they observed something peculiar about their bellies.
Realizing the urgency, they promptly transported them to a local veterinary clinic for a thorough examination.
At The Vet
Regrettably, the two puppies were in serious distress. Besides their swollen bellies, they were afflicted with a severe scabies infestation.
Throughout the car ride and during their time at the clinic, the siblings and their mother seemed unable to find any sense of calm.

Clearly, they were not accustomed to human interactions, making the sudden influx of strangers quite traumatizing for them.
Fortunately, they leaned on each other for support, attempting to stay as composed as possible.

Nevertheless, after much deliberation, the veterinarians concluded that separating the family during treatment would yield better results.
In just five days, this approach showed promising results, as the health of this family significantly improved, allowing them to reunite once more.
Unfortunately, the mother, Vanyam, and her daughter, Jadu, remained apprehensive and would typically hide in the corners, avoiding human contact.
In contrast, the son, named Haetal, displayed a bit more confidence, often interacting with toys provided for him.

After a month spent with their rescuer, the little family finally realized they were being cared for by someone genuinely invested in their wellbeing.
Their health saw remarkable improvements—the scabies cleared up significantly, and their bellies returned to normal size.
