“A dear friend of Tierney’s used to own Ares, but the subsequent owner had sadly passed away, leaving Ares’s fate uncertain. They searched for him tirelessly, and when Tierney saw his picture, he rushed right over,” they described in the post.
Tierney’s excitement was palpable; he couldn’t waste any time and headed straight to the shelter in Gainesville, Florida. Upon arrival, he presented old photographs of Ares, confirming the undeniable truth – he was indeed the right dog.
