Texas Woman Sees Something Watching Her from the Bushes and Is Stunned by What She Discovers

Date:

What began as an ordinary evening for Jen Edmondson in southeastern Texas took a surprising turn. While stepping outside, she noticed two large black eyes peering from the nearby bushes. Curiosity piqued, she approached and discovered a lovable white dog, clearly in need of help, gazing at her with a gentle expression.

He Was All Alone In This World

Clearly lost, the dog exuded a calm and gentle demeanor, suggesting he had once been part of a family. Jen recorded a video and shared it on social media to seek his potential owners.

“Found him alone and wandering. He’s super sweet, but no one has claimed him. So we’re fostering him with a local rescue organization,” Jen shared on her TikTok account.

Many others had spotted the dog wandering around town, yet no one knew if he had an owner. Jen, determined to help, took matters into her own hands.

Jen Steps In As A Temporary Foster

After welcoming him temporarily, Jen took the dog for his first vet appointment, during which the vet identified him as a two-year-old Great Pyrenees. She was advised to foster the dog through Columbus Rescue Dogs from Columbus, Texas, as no one had claimed him. Jen agreed and began fostering him.

However, a tiny issue arose as Jen started to grow fond of the dog, whom she named Gibbous after the gibbous moon that lit the sky that fateful night.

“If I’m being honest, I’m falling in love! He is the sweetest dog and he’s always smiling at me! So we’re getting pretty close to a foster fail here. I’m too vested in this sweet, happy gentle giant,” Jen expressed.

With each passing day, Gibbous grew more at ease with Jen, and as their bond strengthened, Jen realized that she couldn’t part with him.

Gibbous – A Pawdorable Foster Fail

After several months of fostering and preparing Gibbous for adoption, Jen ultimately decided to keep him forever. The thought of losing this gentle giant became unbearable, especially since no one else had come forward for him.

Enjoying His Unexpected Home

@laughingfrogstudio Life is good for this rescue foster Gibbous. He’s sooooo good at car rides, outdoor dining, loving people! ❤️❤️❤️ #rescuedog

Gibbous revels in his spacious yard and, most importantly, enjoys every moment spent with Jen. He has developed a fondness for car rides, long walks, and playing outdoors. Though he can be a bit stubborn, his adorable demeanor often wins people over!

“Life is good for this rescue foster Gibbous. He’s sooooo good at car rides, outdoor dining, loving people,” Jen shares.

We are thrilled to witness Gibbous thriving in his new home, and we wish him and Jen a long, joyful life together! In addition to following their adventures on TikTok, you can catch them on Instagram.
