They opted to use construction netting to isolate her, fearing she might jump over the barriers.
George, one of the team members, expertly cornered Brie with a catch pole and successfully captured her. At that moment, although scared, Brie had no idea her life was about to take a positive turn. Wrapped in a blanket by her rescuers, she felt a sense of safety.

Receiving The Unconditional Love
Brie was placed in a nurturing foster home where she was given the time needed to decompress. Once comfortable, she met her furry foster siblings—a puppy and a cat. While she loved playing with the puppy, she approached the cat with caution, indicating that she needed time to build her confidence. The fosters showered her with affection, and gradually, her sweet personality emerged. As she began to blossom, Brie transformed into a lap dog thanks to the unwavering support of her fosters.
After a while, Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue delightedly announced that Brie had found her forever home.
“This little lady landed herself an incredible human and has settled right into her new routine. We will be cheering Brie and her new family on as they embark on this new adventure together,” the rescue shared in a Facebook post.
Brie was thrilled to meet her new furry foster sister, Mija. The two quickly bonded, sharing delightful moments together, looking out the window, and enjoying neighborhood watch duties. Brie felt fortunate to find such a loving forever mom who would provide her with the unconditional love her heart always desired.
