As Maddie made a full recovery, Selina rejoiced in her healing; her itching subsided and her fur regrew.
Maddie recognized the genuine caring of Selina and developed a bond of love for her rescuer. The pup began to wait eagerly for Selina every day at the same spot, beaming with joy.
Whenever Maddie spotted her cherished human approaching, she would leap with excitement and wag her tail energetically.

After several months, Maddie finally permitted Selina to cuddle her for the very first time.
Their daily meetings became a cherished routine, with Maddie eagerly anticipating her snuggles with Selina.

Once Selina recognized Maddie’s trust, she took her to the veterinarian for a thorough check-up.
To her astonishment, the vet revealed that Maddie was pregnant and ready to give birth in just a few days.
Maddie Finds Her Forever Home with Selina
Selina welcomed Maddie into her home and set up a nesting box for her.
So dedicated to supporting Maddie, Selina chose to stay awake, lying beside the pup to reassure her of her presence.
