Sister Pit Bulls Who Recently Became Orphans Experience an Unforgettable Day

Date:

Every devoted dog parent knows that their furry friend is more than just a pet – they’re a treasured member of the family. And, it’s safe to say that dogs reciprocate these feelings.

They share in our happiness, feel our sadness, and yearn to be a part of our everyday experiences. When separated, they can become incredibly despondent, even falling into depression.

Sadly, this was the reality for two sweet sisters who lost their father. However, fate is about to smile on them once again.

Baby and Rosie are two senior pit bulls who lost their owner to pancreatic cancer. A close friend of their dad made a heartfelt promise to ensure that his beloved pups would find a loving forever home.

To keep that promise, she reached out to Lisa Chiarelli, the founder of Frankie Lola and Friends, a non-profit dog rescue based in Los Angeles, California.

Upon hearing their story, Lisa quickly realized these two girls deserved a truly special experience.

“Their lives had completely changed forever. Today, I’m going to visit Baby and Rosie and treat them to a perfect dog day!” Lisa shared with The Dodo.

Best Day Ever

As Lisa made her way to pick up the sisters, she anticipated they would be sluggish, given their senior status. However, she was in for a surprise – these pups still had the hearts of playful puppies.

Their first stop was the groomers for a relaxing spa day. While Rosie enjoyed her bath, Baby couldn’t bear to leave her side, constantly checking in to ensure her big sister was alright.

“Baby was really worried about her big sister throughout. She kept jumping up to see how Rosie was doing. Their bond is so clear,” she noted.

After basking in their pampering session, it was time for some Puppuccino! Upon seeing Lisa with the tasty treat, their excitement exploded.

Finally, they wrapped up their fun-filled day in the park.

“Spending the day with Baby and Rosie made me fall in love immediately; their magic is undeniable,” Lisa commented.

Forever Home

Lisa quickly found a foster family ready to welcome them for a few weeks, giving her the time to search for an adoptive family that would keep them together.

“While their hearts may have been shattered once, they have so much love to share. They are destined to make someone incredibly happy,” she concluded.
