Big Top has always been a devoted friend throughout his life. However, when it was time for this gentle giant to take a well-earned break, the real sorrow began.
Through no fault of his own, he found himself back in the shelter. His owner unfortunately passed away, leaving Big Top heartbroken.
After so many joyful years in a nurturing environment, Big Top was compelled to begin a new chapter—one marked by uncertainty and optimism!
Back In The Same Place
Big Top’s journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions.
Before settling into his forever home, he faced what can only be described as truly harrowing times! As a young pup, Big Top and his siblings were discovered in a dumpster, fighting for survival.
Thankfully, the dedicated team at Austin Pets Alive in Texas came to their rescue.
“Big Top’s beginnings were far from easy. He was found in a dumpster, infested with ants, alongside his two remaining siblings. They were rescued by APA!, and soon after, this little puppy found a loving home. His new dad adored him greatly, and they enjoyed nearly 11 wonderful years together,” shared APA in an Instagram post.
Before long, his life took an unexpected direction!
He enjoyed eleven fantastic years with his dad, embodying the perfect companion and living his best life. However, everything changed when Big Top’s owner passed away.
More than a decade later, he was back at APA!
The rescue team did everything they could to ensure Big Top adjusted well to his new circumstances. On his twelfth birthday, they celebrated him with a surprise party—which he absolutely loved!
