When a clinic staffer from the Pennsylvania SPCA discovered the crate, they were heartbroken by the note left on top. The owner’s message revealed that it was their final day at home and they had no other options for their dogs.
“I love them so much. Please take care of them and find them a nice home,” the note read.
After reading the note, the staff member looked at Bella and Bobby, who stared back with eyes full of sorrow and confusion. They were brought into the shelter, where they were given food, water, and comfort. Despite their fear, they continually hoped to see their family come through the door.
As time went on, the shelter staff did their best to console the pups, and Bella and Bobby’s plight resonated deeply with everyone. A representative from Pennsylvania SPCA remarked, “Everyone who read Bella and Bobby’s note had the same reaction — how sad and horrible to have to give up your dogs. Unfortunately, it is something that seems to be happening more and more.”
Realizing That They Were Safe

EnVi Dog Rescue and Animal Sanctuary in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, specializing in caring for senior and special needs dogs, heard about the two abandoned Chihuahuas and stepped in to help.
The sanctuary welcomed Bella and Bobby with open arms, promising to find them a loving forever home. The pups were excited about their new surroundings, eager to meet new people and hoping to charm their way into a great family’s heart.
