One viewer, a foster parent, reached out to Pittman and A Purposeful Rescue, expressing her willingness to foster the scared puppy and that she was on her way to the shelter to pick her up.
In no time, Comfort was taken into the foster system, and her foster mom was determined to help her overcome her fears and become the dog she was meant to be.
A Nurturing Foster Environment
Making adjustments to her new surroundings caused Comfort anxiety. Her foster mother understood that the pup simply needed to take her time to acclimate.
In the initial days at her foster home, Comfort whined and hid under the bed.
Her foster mom provided exceptional care and enveloped her in affection.
