While a healthy dog of his age should weigh around 50 pounds, this unfortunate pup tipped the scales at just 20 pounds, on the brink of starvation.
Though he struggled to move, his eyes communicated his dire need for help. His rescuers understood the urgency and sprang into action.
For days, he remained confined in a cage, deprived of food and unable to seek assistance. Finally, he received the opportunity he desperately needed.

A New Opportunity for Boomer
Boomer was infested with fleas and desperately needed a bath, but most importantly, his body craved nourishment. The veterinary team decided against overwhelming him with large amounts of food all at once.
Instead, they introduced specialized food, IV fluids, and nutritional supplements to help him gradually regain strength and weight.
Additionally, routine blood tests were conducted to monitor his progress and health.
