He doesn’t crave gourmet meals or endless escapades; he’s just an ordinary pup with some unusual fascinations, and that’s really the gist of it.
Recently, Wile E. Coyote left his caretakers in Louisiana astonished when he decided to give his kennel a nighttime makeover in the most “feathersome” fashion.
But did he pull it off?
A Feather Pillow, Did You Say?
Since arriving at The Louisiana SPCA, he has been nothing but a cheerful boy with just a few things that really excite him.
He’s not a naughty dog; Wile E. Coyote just has his peculiar little obsessions, and one of them is a feather pillow!
One peaceful afternoon, the shelter staff gifted him a new pillow, and from there, the tale unfolded!
As soon as his caretakers left for the evening, Wile E. Coyote sprang into action! He spent the entire night excavating the feathers, meticulously uncovering them one by one, leading to the largest mess ever witnessed by the staff.
Feathers filled the entire kennel—it was a veritable feather whirlwind! And to top it off, sweeping proved completely ineffective!
“Sweeping does nothing; they still float,” the SPCA shared on Facebook.
The most amusing part? Wile E. Coyote didn’t show an ounce of remorse!
He beamed with pride over his handiwork, demonstrating what he could accomplish in a mere few hours overnight. Yet, he couldn’t quite fathom why his caretakers weren’t equally impressed!
A Quick Learner, An Explorer, And A Friend
Beyond his feather escapades (and let’s admit, we all have our quirks), Wile E. Coyote is truly a remarkable dog.
He’s an avid explorer who enjoys discovering new things, making him an ideal companion for adventures.

“Wile E. Coyote shows unwavering loyalty and affection. He treasures moments spent with his human companions, eagerly welcoming hugs and belly scratches,” the rescue remarked.
His unique character ensures Wile E. Coyote becomes the heart of attention wherever he goes. And now, his greatest desire is to find a forever home with a caring family.
While being treasured by a foster family, Wile would be overjoyed to embark on a new adventure with the people prepared to give him a chance.
