Squeem was as miserable as he was small. Abandoned and left to roam the streets of Oregon, his odds were heavily stacked against him, and at just two pounds, he was in constant jeopardy of being harmed by larger animals or injured in accidents.
Then, it happened: Squeem’s first (and only) chance at happiness came along and transformed his life in the most beautiful way!
From Abandoned To Beloved
Can you imagine finding a two-pound furball? That’s exactly what Squeem’s rescuer experienced when they discovered him shivering and covered in dirt on the streets. He certainly didn’t deserve abandonment, but in a way, that led him to a better life. Shortly after being found, he was taken to the Oregon Humane Society.
Instantly, Squeem became a favorite! This adorable little furball was practically a pocket dog, and it was amusing to see him cuddle up in the arms and pockets of the shelter staff.
Instead of waiting in a cage, Squeem was placed in a foster home where he truly flourished. He was certainly a family dog who needed a chance, and fortunately for him, that chance came quickly!
Hannah and her partner, V, immediately fell for Squeem the moment they saw him, thanks to a friend who shared his story and photos with them.
It’s safe to say Squeem captured their hearts effortlessly! Whether it was his cute appearance or his oversized ears on his tiny head, it was undeniable that they needed to adopt him.
In just a few days, Squeem transformed from abandoned to adored. He found a loving home with his new moms, who agreed to share his journey on social media to keep his admirers from the Oregon shelter updated!
“Local celebrity and former stray. Squeem came home with us this week on the condition that we make him a social media account so the shelter employees could keep up with him,” his owners shared in a TikTok post, displaying Squeem’s cutest moments.
Squeem is quite the social media star! With both an Instagram and TikTok, he’s become a celebrity! His owners receive countless messages from fans worldwide who can’t stop showering him with love.
“How did this little boop boop end up in the shelter? I’m so glad he found a good forever home,” one follower commented.

His Body Is Tiny, But His Personality Is Huge
Though Squeem is diminutive, his personality is anything but! Three defining traits make this charming pup unique: he has the silliest bark, boundless enthusiasm for everything, and a habit of running in circles constantly!
