Becoming a proud dog parent makes you notice every pup on the street. Your life starts to revolve around them as you embrace your new identity as a pack member for good. Noah Hais from Cleveland, Ohio, recognized this from the get-go but awaited the ideal moment to surprise his first dog, a mini Goldendoodle named Milo, with a companion.

What initially started as a simple idea to expand his furry family took a twist during a road trip!

Noah and Milo have been best friends for four years. With Milo’s playful nature stealing the spotlight, Noah reflects, “There isn’t one thing we haven’t been through together, and his childlike spirit has helped me rediscover mine. The day Milo was born was the day I was assigned an angel on earth.”

One day, he stumbled upon Moose, a one-eyed shelter dog yearning for a forever home. Noah instantly fell in love with the idea of adopting him. Shortly thereafter, Milo was thrilled to welcome a brother, and despite Moose’s initial timidity, Milo showered him with love, forging a special bond.

Last, But Not Least – Mowgli

Noah, who has an adventurous spirit, didn’t let having two dogs hinder his cross-country road trips. Traveling with Milo and Moose became an incredible journey as they explored together as a pack. On one trip, while stopping for souvenirs, Noah encountered a hungry dog he later named Mowgli. She devoured the food he offered, revealing her sad plight of being abandoned.

Store owners revealed she had been dumped the previous night, so Noah decided to help her. “It was a big decision, but I knew I couldn’t leave her out there,” Noah shared with The Dodo. He embraced Mowgli into his family, making her part of their growing pack!

Milo and Moose quickly took to their new sister, transitioning into “big brother mode” upon meeting her. “I believe my dogs are emotionally aware; they sensed Mowgli wasn’t well, triggering our rescue instincts. After a month together, their bond is incredible,” Noah shares.
