Ohio Man Adopts a Puppy to Surprise His Goldendoodle, but What Happens Next is Even More Unexpected!

Date:

Once you become a proud dog parent, you start noticing every pup on the street—your life begins to revolve around them, and you willingly accept that you’re now a lifelong pack member!

Noah Hais from Cleveland, Ohio, was aware of this from the beginning but patiently waited for the right moment to surprise his first dog, the mini Goldendoodle, Milo, with a new furry companion. Initially, he envisioned expanding his family with just one more dog, but everything changed during a road trip!

Bringing Moose Into The Family

Noah and Milo have been best friends for four years, and his little buddy has always been the center of attention. Noah cherishes Milo’s playful spirit: “There isn’t one thing the two of us haven’t been through together. His childlike spirit has helped me rediscover mine. The day Milo was born was the day I was assigned an angel on earth,” said Noah.

While scrolling online one day, he came across Moose, a one-eyed shelter dog desperately seeking a forever home, and he instantly fell in love with the idea of adopting him! Milo also welcomed the idea of having a brother, and they clicked immediately. Though Moose was a bit shy at first, Milo showered him with the affection he needed, forging a beautiful bond between the two.

Last, But Not Least – Mowgli

Noah, a travel enthusiast, found that having two dogs didn’t hinder his cross-country road trips; in fact, traveling with Milo and Moose became a fantastic experience. They would wake up together, stroll, and explore beautiful locations as a united pack. One day on their return trip, Noah stopped for souvenirs and noticed a beautiful dog. She was famished, practically devouring the food he provided, clearly abandoned and left to fend for herself.

According to local store owners, she had been abandoned the night before in the desert, and her previous owners never returned. Faced with this heartbreaking situation, Noah made the decision to help, telling “It was a big decision to make, but I knew I could not leave her out there,” to The Dodo. He welcomed the little girl, whom he named Mowgli, into his family with open arms, officially making her a part of their incredible pack!

Milo and Moose embraced the addition of their sister, Mowgli, almost as if they recognized she needed a caretaker, instantly transitioning into their “big brother mode”! Noah believes that his dogs are emotionally intuitive: “I think my dogs are very emotionally aware and they knew that she wasn’t doing well, so we all were in rescue mode. Now that we’ve been together for a month, their relationship is just awesome,” he shares.
