On her way to her job at Noah’s Crossing Vet Clinic, a nurse expected it to be an ordinary day.
Upon arrival, though, she spotted something unusual outside the clinic.
Investigating further, she found a cardboard box sealed with yellow tape and a curious note attached.
As she read the message, she felt an urgency to bring it inside immediately.
Adorable Surprise
The note stated: “found on the side of the road.”
With this information, the nurse quickly guessed that there were animals inside and, given the silence from the box, began to worry.
Once inside, she opened the box with unease, and a wave of relief washed over her when she finally peeked inside.
Two tired kitten sisters looked up at her, warm and exhausted yet grateful for their rescue.
“[They were] anxious, but relieved to see a friendly face,” shared a rep from Noah’s Crossing with The Dodo.
The rest of the staff felt heartbroken upon hearing about the kittens being abandoned on such a sweltering day.
They were particularly disheartened knowing that despite their constant outreach for those needing to rehome pets, they had not received any calls regarding these precious sisters.
“It’s tragic that some individuals can’t take the necessary actions,” the representative remarked.
Fortunately, the delightful sisters were now in a safe space, receiving all the affection they could ever need.
After undergoing a full health check and being spayed, they were set to seek out their forever home.
“They [had] incredibly vibrant, sociable, and loving natures. They undoubtedly deserved a home filled with love,” the representative affirmed.
New Life
Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before a family stepped up to adopt both kittens, determined not to separate the inseparable duo.
The sisters are now comfortably settled in their new home, surrounded by adoring family members.
Thankfully, the kind individual who found them took the right approach by bringing them to the clinic.
Let their story serve as a gentle reminder: if you encounter an animal in need, please reach out to your local shelter and help give them a second chance—they truly deserve it!
