Residing in a bustling metropolis means you’re often greeted by a sea of vehicles as soon as you step outside. Let’s face it, many of these cars not only look alike but practically blend into one another.
I’ve certainly found myself trying to get into the wrong car, mistaking it for my own.
Fortunately, those vehicles were locked, but unfortunately, the protagonist in today’s tale had a different experience.
That’s Not Your Car, Vincent

After savoring a delicious pizza, Vincent Zepeda made his way to the parking lot where he had parked to return home.
He approached his vehicle, opened the door, and drove away.
However, while heading home, Zepeda started hearing unusual sounds from the back seat.
As he turned around to check, he was greeted by the sight of the cutest dog, patiently sitting in the back, trying to make sense of the situation.

Immediately, Zepeda realized he had entered the wrong vehicle!
He quickly turned around and made his way back to the parking area to swap this car for his own.
“This is why you shouldn’t leave your key fob in your vehicle. I got in while carrying my pizza … and was scared out of my wits by this dog. That’s neither my dog nor my car,” Zepeda explained in a video.
Upon returning to the parking lot, he discovered his actual car parked right next to the one he had mistakenly driven.
After safely returning the car, a bewildered Zepeda got into his own vehicle and drove away.
Meet The Pup
Zepeda decided to share his experience online, hoping to remind others not to leave their keys in their vehicles.
Shortly after, his video became a sensation, reaching Cynthie, the owner of the car Zepeda had mistaken for his own.

Cynthie reached out to Zepeda, eager to introduce him to her dog, Fletcher.
“A friend contacted me to let me know she recognized the other car,” Zepeda mentioned in a follow-up video.
Fletcher welcomed his new acquaintance in the best way he knew how – with a wagging tail.

After spending quality time with the lovable dog, Zepeda realized that unintentionally hopping into a stranger’s car wasn’t as terrible as one might think.
“He just wanted your pizza,” Cynthie joked.
