When the Krier family realized their beloved Black Labrador, Bo, was missing, panic set in. They began searching frantically, recalling how much Bo loved to sneak out on adventures from their home in Concordia, Kansas. Although he often managed to find his way back, this time was different. After his mom took him out to the bathroom one night, he vanished from the yard and didn’t return.
Family Receives News Of Bo

The entire family was deeply concerned for their sweet boy and kept searching. Laura Krier shared Bo’s photo on social media, pleading for anyone who might see him to reach out. Their spirits lifted the next day when Kyle Krier, Bo’s dad, received a report of a dog resembling Bo spotted six miles away in the cornfields.

Krier quickly drove to the location. As soon as he called out Bo’s name, he saw his dog sprinting towards him. Relief and joy washed over Krier upon realizing his furry friend was safe. Upon closer inspection, he noticed Bo wasn’t alone but was accompanied by friends, unidentifiable at first, mere specks in the distance.
Bo Introduces His Friends To His Dad

As they got closer, Krier was astonished to see that Bo was accompanied by a dog and a goat. True to his friendly nature, Bo insisted on giving his companions a ride in his dad’s red truck. He didn’t want to leave them behind. Krier welcomed the three into his car, secured their seatbelts, and drove them back to the city.

It turned out that Bo’s new friends, Libby and Ozzy, were the pets of his neighbors! Krier began to piece together the puzzle. After sneaking out, Bo must have made his way to their place. Although it was unclear who instigated the adventure, it was evident to their owners that the trio had hatched the plan together.
“It’s difficult to say if Bo the black Lab or Libby and Ozzy were the culprits in starting the adventure. But, nonetheless, they escaped. They’re pals for sure,” Shawna Huggans shared with The Dodo. Bo cherished the companionship of friends who shared his love for excitement and exploration.
Bo’s Perfect Life

The lovable pup made even more goat friends and continued to enjoy his ideal life in Kansas, often sneaking out on daily escapades. Tragically, in July 2022, Laura announced on her Facebook that their perfect and sweet Bo had crossed the rainbow bridge. His memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.
“He was so perfect from the day we picked him as a puppy; it’s truly unexplainable! The happiness he brought us all every day, his funny personality, and his love for adventures will always stay with us,” she expressed.
Bo lived a wonderful life filled with love and joy from his family, leaving countless smiles in his wake. He will always be remembered.
