Witnessing once unfortunate animals thrive and enjoy their best lives warms my heart every single time. So, when I discovered the story of this little pup, I was hopeful for his happy ending.

While climbing a beautiful mountain, photographer Tyler from Utah and his wife unexpectedly came across a heartbreaking scene: a little puppy sitting in the mud, crying desperately. His eyes conveyed his despair, as he hadn’t seen anyone in days. Immediately, the couple knew they had to lend a hand.
After a brief interaction to reassure the pup that they meant him no harm, Tyler picked up the sweet boy and carefully brought him down the mountain. As he held the pup, he realized that the little guy was infested with fleas, further indicating that he had been alone for quite a while.
Life Sure Does Get Better
Once they arrived home, the couple treated the pup to some delicious food, recognizing his obvious hunger. His eagerness to eat reassured them that he would recover.
They promptly took him to the veterinarian for a thorough examination and ensured he received all necessary medications and vaccinations. With each visit, the pup showed remarkable signs of improvement.
Since the couple already had two adorable pups, they decided to put this charming little guy up for adoption. To their delight, Tyler found the perfect match—his wife! “Not my typical post. This pup was on his last leg when I found him. I figured if we spent this much time and money to get him to this point, we might as well keep him. We named him Lucky for good reason. And he is living his best life now,” he shared on his Instagram.
Since then, Lucky has been absolutely thriving, enveloped in love, happiness, and excitement. His owners ensure he has everything he could ever need, while his furry siblings keep him playfully busy. For Lucky, this is truly the best life ever!
