Georgia Woman Takes Her Dog for a Walk and Encounters a Heartbreaking Scene

Date:

Throughout my years with dogs, I’ve come to realize that therapy dogs are among the most compassionate and gentle creatures. They are trained to comfort those in need, often extending their kindness to other animals as well.

In this story, we’ll share the tale of a brave therapy dog who discovered something unusual in the woods, leaving his owner astonished.

Banner, The Super Dog

For most of his life, Banner was a therapy dog from Georgia, providing assistance to those in dire need. He had been by the side of his owner, Whitney Braley, for a long time, helping her tremendously during PTSD episodes and anxiety attacks. She quickly realized he was a gentle soul, devoted to being with his best friend.

One fateful day, while strolling through the woods near home, Banner spotted something unusual and raced back to Whitney. Though she was uncertain of his intentions, it appeared as if he was urging her to follow him. Together, they ventured into the forest, where Banner led her to a plastic, sealed box that seemed to hold a mystery inside.

A Big Surprise For Whitney

Upon opening the box, Whitney discovered seven abandoned newborn kittens, left alone in the forest. Knowing she couldn’t just walk away, she and Banner took them home, nursing them back to health. Banner took on a maternal role, watching over them continuously to ensure their well-being. After a considerable amount of time, they all recovered thanks to this remarkable duo.

Once the kittens were healthy, Whitney decided to sign them up for adoption, providing them with a chance to find permanent loving homes in Georgia. While it’s unclear what became of them afterward, we can hope they found their families.
