Some things are just meant to be. No matter how challenging life may seem or where you find yourself, somehow, through some form of magic, things unfold just as they are meant to – perfectly. One day, Nicole, a mom of three from Georgia, was en route to a birthday party when something truly harrowing caught her eye: a small pup, barely alive, struggling on the roadside.
Nicole didn’t hesitate to jump out of her car, unaware that her life—and the life of the pup—was about to change forever.
She Was Skin And Bones
Without a doubt, the puppy had suffered harsh abandonment. She was cruelly left by the roadside, covered in ticks and fleas when Nicole found her. Nicole later shared on Instagram, “As I was driving to a birthday party, I found a puppy that had been dumped on the side of the road. She was skin and bones, covered in fleas and ticks and in desperate need of love.”
Instead of taking the dog to a shelter or leaving her there, Nicole devised a plan to provide the puppy with care temporarily. Already a dog owner to a pup named Rosie, she wanted to ensure the rescue dog received the love she needed. Soon, the entire family embraced the rescue pup, naming her Nala Grace, and formed a special bond with her, particularly with Sebastian, who persuaded his parents for days to make Nala a permanent family member, resulting in her adoption!
The Sweetest Foster Failure
Nala couldn’t help but stay with Sebastian, Nicole, and the rest of the family, and they too couldn’t resist her charm! Nicole remarked, “I brought her home intending to foster her until I found the right home. However, she had different plans.” The family readily embraced Nala, ensuring she would never feel abandoned or betrayed again. They signed her up for a boarding training program, where she learned valuable skills, Good manners, and commands, ultimately becoming a full-fledged member of the family.
Nala quickly adapted to her new environment and brothers, ensuring she was never abandoned or mistreated again. Nicole concluded, “We all fell in love and decided we would be her permanent home, ensuring she would never experience being mistreated and thrown out like trash again.” Now, Nala returns the love with cuddles, kisses, and joyful tail wags, finally at the right place with the right people!
