Faithful Dog Waits at California Parking Lot After Being Abandoned, Wishing for Her Owners’ Return

Date:

A heartbreaking story is emerging from Southern California about a tiny gray-and-white dog found lying in a school parking lot beside the shrubs, steadfastly waiting for her family who had abandoned her.

Little Doggo Girl Was Inclined To Wait For Her Hoomans To Come Back

For fifteen days, the little dog refused to leave her spot near the shrubs, waiting endlessly for her family to return. Despite numerous attempts from people who wanted to help her and who shared her pictures online, no one came forward to claim her. She remained undeterred and fearful, unwilling to approach anyone, until a woman named Suzette Hall intervened.

Suzette Made Sure The Dog Got A Fresh Start

Suzette, the founder of Logan’s Legacy animal rescue in Irvine, California, was determined to help when she heard about the dog. She found the spot where the dog had been waiting for 15 days, noting how scared she was, yet still loyal in her hope for her family to return. To catch the frightened dog, Suzette set a humane trap with a hot dog as bait, knowing this was her best chance given the pup had already been fed kibble by kind neighbors.

When the dog was finally caught, she panicked but soon calmed down and fell asleep in Suzette’s car. Suzette named her “Scarlet” and took her to Camino Pet Hospital for a checkup. Scarlet received the necessary care and was cleared to move to a new foster home, where she quickly became a beloved family member with plenty of siblings to play with.

Although Scarlet now enjoys a happy life in her foster home, she is still on the lookout for her forever family. This sweet and easy-going dog gets along well with everyone and will adapt quickly to a new household. However, Suzette has one important requirement for Scarlet’s future family: they must ensure she is never abandoned again. It is crucial for Scarlet to learn the meaning of true love and security. We hope she finds her perfect home very soon!
