English Bulldog Stands in the Kitchen Corner at 8 PM Every Night, and the Reason Will Make You Laugh!

Date:

Are you a proud English Bulldog owner? If so, you’re likely aware of the quirky personalities these loose-faced bundles of joy possess. Recently, Lizzy Lambertson from California discovered this firsthand with her English Bulldog, Hank, who has developed the most amusing habit. Rather than yearning for outdoor adventures or snuggling, Hank has something hilarious in mind!

Hank Lives For Attention

To say that Hank lives for attention would be an understatement—he’s practically the greatest showman wherever he goes! From exciting walks with his mom to car rides and park visits, Hank captivates everyone. However, his journey to happiness wasn’t easy. After being abandoned in Los Angeles, Hank was rescued by a wonderful foster family who cared for him until he met Lizzy.

Lizzy transformed Hank’s life as he now relishes every moment, reveling in social gatherings, cardboard boxes, and, unexpectedly, cheese! Hank has a passion for cheese that seems to be unmatched—no type of cheese is left undiscovered. From Swiss to Mozzarella, this pup is a proud cheesemonger without a hint of being overweight!

Recently, Hank adopted a peculiar cheese-related habit that has left his mom utterly amazed!

It’s Cheese O’Clock

Every night at 8 PM sharp, this clever pup goes to the corner of the kitchen and sits facing the wall, waiting for his cheese! According to Lizzy, “Every night around 8 PM, Hank goes to this corner and sits facing the wall. He doesn’t have to go potty, he doesn’t want outside—he just wants cheese.”

He refuses to budge until he’s rewarded with his favorite treat.

“It’s his cheese corner, and he won’t respond to you until you say ‘It’s cheese time!’ Then he walks to the fridge and gets cheese. He prefers Swiss,” adds Lizzy.

It’s an intriguing ritual, and while it’s uncertain why he picked 8 PM, Lizzy has her theories. This is around the time she settles down to watch TV; perhaps Hank has linked this time to cheese. Additionally, he tries to trick Lizzy into thinking he wants to go outside but comes back in once he hears “cheese.” He cleverly learned that he receives cheese each time he returns home from a walk, seamlessly integrating it into his strategy.

As soon as Lizzy shared the video of Hank in the corner, it quickly gained traction on TikTok.

Viewers responded with laughter at Hank’s clever scheme and his unique cheese-enthusiasm. One commenter humorously stated, “This is what they mean when they say Bulldogs are stubborn; they’ll sit in silence until they get what they want.” Another remarked, “It’s impressive how quickly a Bulldog can train their owner!”

Without a doubt, Hank will continue his cheese ritual, solidifying his status as a TikTok sensation, and who knows, he may develop another amusing habit to keep his audience entertained!
