The video opens with a tennis ball tumbles down from the balcony into the hands of a passer-by, who then passes it to another person who eventually throws it back onto the balcony.
At that moment, a black dog’s head pops up, patiently waiting for a human to toss the ball back so the game can progress.
As the game progresses, another woman retrieves the ball instead of the man who initially had it.
The dog’s instinct not to want to play fetch with her was validated by her awkward attempts to throw the ball over the balcony fence, which she only succeeded in accomplishing on her third try after two earlier misses.
After this awkward exchange, the dog hesitates for a moment before deciding to drop the ball again.
And it miraculously drops right in front of another dog, hinting at a potential expansion of this delightful game.
Unfortunately, the other dog showed no interest, and the man present took it upon himself to throw the ball instead.
