A Heartbroken Pup
Audray, who heads Luck’s Rescue—a Georgia-based non-profit—received a call about an abandoned dog. It was reported that the family had moved and left the poor pup outside in the cold.
Neighbors checked on Lucy, ensuring she had food and water.
Audray rushed to the scene to rescue her.
When she arrived, she found Lucy on the porch, looking sad yet hopeful. The pup’s demeanor changed as she saw Audray approaching.
Audray offered Lucy some food, winning her trust. The affectionate dog showered Audray with sweet kisses, grateful for the rescue.
It pained Audray to see the neglect Lucy had suffered. Her fur was matted and she was infested with fleas and ticks, while the collar she wore was alarmingly tight.
Yet, despite her hardships, Lucy was filled with love.
The sweet dog rolled onto her back, inviting Audray to rub her belly, receiving the affection she so desperately needed.
Lucy joyfully hopped into the car, and Audray took her to the veterinarian for essential care.
After receiving her vaccinations, Audray took Lucy to a groomer who freed her from the matted fur.
Lucy emerged as a stunning dog. She was thrilled to be surrounded by kind people who lavished her with love.
Discovering True Love
Before long, Audray found Lucy an amazing foster home. Her foster mom enveloped her in love and cuddles that Lucy needed so dearly.
Her foster siblings taught Lucy the joys of indoor living. The pack supported Lucy constantly, providing cuddles and helping her gain confidence.
Many viewers who followed Lucy’s journey on social media were smitten by her story and submitted numerous adoption applications.
On January 13th, 2024, Audray proudly announced via Instagram that Lucy had found her forever home.
Her new family showered her with affection. Lucy wore the biggest smile and her eyes sparkled with happiness.
We are overjoyed to know that this beautiful girl found loving parents who will cherish her. From now on, Lucy’s life will be filled with endless love and happiness.
