Just a little two-year-old pup, Baby was cruelly tied up and abandoned by thoughtless individuals. Scared and confused, she waited patiently for someone to come and rescue her.
Thankfully, Baby was saved and brought to Animal Charity of Ohio in Youngstown, where her hope blossomed. The delightful pup longed for the family that would love her as she had always dreamed. Unfortunately, seven long years went by as Baby waited for someone to choose her from the crowd. Despite her prolonged stay, she never lost hope.
Baby’s Chance To Make Her Dreams Come True
The shelter staff cherished Baby, showering her with love and care, and she returned their affection by being a true cuddle bug. When Lake Humane Society in Mentor heard about her, they were determined to help her fulfill her dream.
They organized her transfer from Animal Charity to Lake Humane, where they welcomed Baby with open arms and immense joy, wondering why no one had ever chosen her. The staff was determined to help her find her long-awaited happiness.
“Baby is kind, affectionate, and ready to bring endless love to the right home after so many years in a cage. She deserves a life full of comfort, love, and the family she’s always dreamed of,” the shelter expressed in her adoption profile.
The Pup Has So Much Love To Give
Wherever she went, the affectionate pup spread joy. After spending a weekend with a volunteer from Lake Humane, she won over her host with her sweetness and impeccable house manners. Baby was thrilled to experience the warmth and comfort of a home.
“She was doing zoomies in the house. She loved it on the couch and dog beds. She acted like she’d always been there,” the volunteer shared with WKYC.
Though Baby is around nine years old, she possesses the energy and playfulness of a younger pup, enjoying her stuffed toys and car rides.
Baby eagerly awaits the opportunity to meet her forever humans, ready to shower them with kisses she has saved just for them. All she needs is a chance to prove what a wonderful dog she truly is!
