Discover How This Company ‘Celebrated’ the Pets That Ruined Their Products

Date:

Anyone who has ever had a dog understands that they can be little troublemakers who enjoy engaging in activities they shouldn’t.

Most of the time, they are well-behaved and lovable, and their occasional mischief often leads to humorous stories that we cherish.

This tale highlights how one inventive company decided to document every incident where a dog has damaged their merchandise, and they’ve executed this concept remarkably.

A Wall Of Shame

This Colorado-based company, Liberty Puzzles, has been dedicated to crafting engaging laser-cut wooden puzzles for quite some time.

Over the years, they have produced numerous items and started noticing a peculiar trend regarding some of them.

Many customers would purchase a puzzle only to later request a replacement because the original had been damaged.

Upon asking how the puzzles met their demise, most people reported that their dogs were the culprits, chewing or destroying them.

Kemie Kennedy, a member of the team, shared with The Dodo: “When we began receiving replacement requests, we discovered that many of the offenders were pets. As a playful trade-off for our replacements, we asked customers to send in pictures of their mischievous pets.

How The Idea Was Born

Thus, the concept of a “wall of shame” came to life for this Colorado-based enterprise. They began showcasing images of every dog that had ever chewed or damaged their puzzles.

Although dogs were usually the main offenders, the wall also features pictures of other animals, including rabbits, pigs, parrots, and even robot vacuums!

Kennedy mentioned: “We frequently receive a substantial number of requests for replacement pieces. Our Wall of Shame grows weekly.

Even though it might appear that the company could grow weary of pets causing such destruction, Liberty Puzzles feels otherwise.

The company has realized that many customers enjoy sharing images of their pets after they’ve had a puzzle mishap, and they are more than happy to display these on their wall.

Kennedy stated: “We receive a good number of requests for replacement pieces. We likely add to the Wall of Shame every week.

Given their commitment to this project, the wall has become a delightful display filled with numerous photos of pets that have caused some chaos.

Ultimately, this initiative serves as a heartwarming way to commemorate these amusing moments in your dog’s life.

It can lead to fond reflections on the wonderful adventures you’ve shared with your beloved pet and the joyful memories created together.
