When Kristin brought Fenway into her life in 2014, it marked a pivotal moment as she sought solace from an abusive relationship.
With no family in Colorado, Fenway became her sole emotional support during this challenging period.
As she shared with The Dodo: “We were just desperately searching for a place to call home. He was my rock during that time.”
Over the years, he provided invaluable support that helped her navigate those tough days and emerge stronger.
A New Tradition
In December of 2017, she wanted to create a special occasion for Fenway, which led to a beloved Christmas tradition.
Fenway thoroughly enjoys this time of year. Kristin remarked: “He gets so excited every Christmas morning, like a child on the big day.”
He finds immense joy in unwrapping his gifts, and afterward, they cuddle up to watch Santa on television together.
Sometimes, they even take a drive around to admire the festive lights adorning homes throughout Colorado.
This tradition has brought so much joy, filling Fenway with the warmth and magic of Christmas.
Kristin’s New Surprise
This year, Kristin decided to throw in the ultimate surprise. After adorning their tree, she had a special guest over.
It was none other than Santa himself. Fenway was ecstatic to see him and jumped at the door in eager anticipation.
Once Santa entered, the dog was beyond thrilled, overwhelmed with excitement that was simply heartwarming.
Kristin remarked: “Seeing Santa made it seem like a dream was unfolding for Fenway. His excitement was uncontainable.”
Santa showered him with gifts and affection, and Fenway was more than ready to soak it all in from his beloved guest.
