Leanne Purdy Van Bergen has a spacious yard that she often finds challenging to utilize. However, a year ago, in the spring, nature came to her aid by introducing an adorable family of animals.
The mother and her cubs spent several days frolicking in the greenery outside her home, bringing happiness and delight to Van Bergen’s daily life. When they unexpectedly left, it left a void in her heart.
But her joy was unmatched when they returned this year, along with even more offspring.
Friends and Their Babies
When the mother fox and her cubs left her yard last year, Van Bergen felt heartbroken, yet she had a sense they would come back. Soon after, she received confirmation of her hopes.
“Someone mentioned that they usually return the next year, so I was always looking out for them. I was ecstatic when they came back, and with double the excitement!” Van Bergen shared with The Dodo.
“I counted 10 [cubs] at one point, but who can say for sure?”
