That’s why I deeply admire those who maintain their patience amid adversity, especially when that individual is a loving pup like Tipperary, affectionately known as Tippy.
Tippy is a sweet dog who has been patiently waiting for her forever family her entire life. Upon her arrival at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in California, she was ready to embark on a joyful journey with a new family. Unfortunately, four years later, she remains in the same place. Despite this setback, neither Tippy nor her dedicated California rescuers have given up on her.
In Search Of A Home
To highlight Tippy’s wonderful nature, the shelter has taken her to various adoption events across California, hoping to find her the right match. Libby Kovalcik, a RCHS behavior and training specialist, shared, “As a trainer, what I love the most about Tipperary is how smart she is. Tipperary is a loving and lovable dog, cuddly and affectionate. She’s a pleaser who has remained resilient during her stay, showing eagerness to learn lifelong skills from our devoted volunteers and staff,” as reported by People.
Such a loving pup deserves the best, which is why RCHS has made clear what Tippy is seeking. “Tipperary would thrive in a quieter, rural, or suburban environment. Since a proper lifestyle is crucial for a successful adoption, finding a suitable match for a sensitive dog like Tipperary in an urban area like San Diego can be particularly challenging,” explained Michele Moua, adoption services director.
