There’s something endlessly entertaining about how dogs respond to the strangest situations in their lives. I find joy in observing their reactions, whether they love or despise whatever we show them.
For instance, moments when my dog encounters something new and does a double-take are truly remarkable. If he’s not a fan, we remove it immediately to keep him happy; nonetheless, those special moments are delightful.
Rebecca Adam, a proud dog owner, experienced something similar when she bought a ‘boyfriend pillow’. Much to her surprise, her pup Nugget had quite an amusing reaction to it.
It’s Not Yours Anymore

When Rebecca brought the boyfriend pillow home to California, she had no idea how much her dog Nugget would adore it. To her astonishment, her pup became quite attached, practically claiming it as his own.
It soon became clear to Rebecca that getting her pillow back from Nugget was highly unlikely. The pillow became a constant companion for him.

Rebecca contemplated reclaiming the pillow but couldn’t bring herself to do it upon witnessing Nugget’s joy while cuddling with it. Interestingly, Nugget isn’t a cuddler. He tends not to snuggle with anyone, making his affection for the pillow even more surprising.
Rebecca mentioned this wouldn’t be a fleeting obsession; Nugget had fully assumed control over the pillow, and there was no chance he would give it back.
What Did The Internet Say

After sharing her video of Nugget snuggling the pillow, it sparked many delightful reactions online. One commenter noted, “Not him looking at you like you’re interrupting! This is adorable.”
Nugget really seemed to cherish his new pillow, and that was evident when Rebecca interrupted him. Another user mentioned, “I was sooooo weirded out by the way the person was laying, then as it got closer, I was like ohhhhhh a puppy.”

While the scenario may appear amusingly odd, it’s clear that the dog is relishing his new pillow, and that’s what truly counts.
Interestingly, someone else commented, “I have a curved body pillow and my chihuahua did the same thing.” This suggests that the pillow’s shape might play a role in attracting dogs to them.
Overall, these reactions from both dogs and humans highlight the special bond we share with our furry companions. Perhaps it’s time for more of us to consider getting our dogs their own cozy pillow for snuggling!
