Daniela, a dog rescuer from California, was enjoying a peaceful evening at home when she noticed strange noises coming from outside. Curiosity led her to investigate, and she found a timid young pup waiting by her gate, pleading for help.
The Pup Finds Safety

As Daniela gently stroked the pup, now named Bitsy, she felt safe for the first time. Eager to help, Daniela provided food and water, and Bitsy gobbled it down while wagging her tail. After a good meal, she took Bitsy to the bathroom for a much-needed bath.

Noticing a collar on Bitsy, Daniela suspected she was abandoned and had previously lived outdoors, evident by her coat covered in motor oil and debris. After her bath, Bitsy showed her gratitude with sweet kisses, her eyes brimming with love for her new savior. Although still a bit fearful, Bitsy began to relax as she was surrounded by kindness, starting to believe that good people do exist.

As time passed, Bitsy became more relaxed, even playing and doing zoomies around the house. However, Daniela’s own dog was not accepting of Bitsy, prompting her to seek a rescue that could provide a better environment for the pup.
Bitsy Moves Into A Foster Home

Fortunately, 4 Paws Kiddo Rescue in Los Angeles stepped in and agreed to take Bitsy in. After an examination at the vet, it was revealed that Bitsy was pregnant.
She was placed in the loving care of Sarah, a wonderful foster who would help her through pregnancy. While it was difficult for Daniela to say goodbye to Bitsy, she felt comforted knowing that the pup was in good hands.

Bitsy feels happy and relieved that she is no longer alone. She eagerly awaits the arrival of her pups while looking forward to finding a loving family that will adopt her. With hope in her heart, Bitsy is ready for a fresh start, assured that wonderful forever homes are out there for her and her future puppies.
A big thank you goes out to Daniela for rescuing this adorable dog and to Sarah and 4 Paws Kiddo Rescue for providing care to Bitsy.
