Upon adopting her, this beauty sported very dark fur, making it easy to mistake her for a larger breed. Although her owner couldn’t pinpoint the exact breed—guessing it was a mix of Whippet and Terrier—the specifics didn’t matter much in the grand scheme.
As time passed, her owner began noticing significant changes: her fur color started to transform completely, leading to a startling realization by the time the puppy matured—she hardly resembled her original self. This puzzled her owner, who found it both surprising and amusing to witness such a drastic transformation. So much so, she decided to take before and after photos.

Upon sharing her dog’s transformation on her TikTok account, the owner received a flood of comments. One questioned, “Are you sure no one switched out your dog?” I have to admit, I would ponder the same if I didn’t see her every day as such a significant change isn’t common.
Another user suggested, “Get her a haircut for a 100% different look. I had a Terrier mix once; he looked entirely different after a trim.” Nevertheless, the owner jokingly insists she doesn’t see her pup as ‘ugly,’ merely playful about the unexpected appearance.
