Life on the streets is a challenge for all homeless dogs, especially for little puppies. Instead of enjoying the warmth and security of their parents, many pups are forced to navigate the dangers of the streets alone. Mystic was one of these vulnerable fur babies, struggling to survive by scavenging for scraps.
Injured and hungry, Mystic desperately needed help. While wandering through a California neighborhood, dragging her paws, she spotted a quiet family home and decided to stop by. With hope in her heart, she curled up in the yard, waiting for someone to notice her.
An Adorable Fur Baby Needs Help
While visiting her parents’ home during their vacation, Jaymee Cisneros found Mystic curled up in a corner of the yard. As soon as the puppy saw Cisneros approaching, she looked up with sad eyes, as if pleading for assistance. Though initially timid, Mystic quickly warmed up, wagging her tail as she sensed kindness.
Cisneros scooped up the little pup, noticing her injuries. She contacted her friends at Tanya’s Adoption Network 4 Young Animals, an animal rescue in California, to inform them about the needy pup. Her friends agreed to help, and as they coordinated Mystic’s pickup, Cisneros took her inside, giving her a comforting bath. Wrapped in a towel, Mystic felt safe for the first time in a while and looked at Cisneros with gratitude.
Once settled, Mystic took a long nap before enjoying a proper meal. While snuggling with her, Cisneros realized the profound bond forming between them. Just as promised, her friends from the rescue arrived to take Mystic for further care. However, Cisneros felt an immediate void after they left.
“… As soon as the rescue left with her, I felt like I was missing something. I ended up reaching out to [the] rescue after they left and let them know if she didn’t have a family and became adoptable, we would gladly take her in,” Cisneros shared with The Dodo.
Finding The Family She Always Dreamed Of
After receiving the medical care she needed, Mystic recovered quickly. Since she lacked a microchip and no owner came forward to claim her, Cisneros and her family were delighted to welcome her into their forever home. The sweet pup, full of joy, found a family that cherished her, ensuring she would never face the loneliness and hunger of the streets again. We’re overjoyed for Mystic and hope that every stray dog soon finds a loving place to call home.
