Behind every successful rescue story is a kind-hearted individual dedicated to aiding animals in distress. Suzette Hall, a seasoned rescuer from Southern California, embodies this spirit!
Recently, Hall and her team of volunteers came across a mysterious ball of fur stranded in a deep canal. Upon closer inspection, they were horrified to realize it was a pup in desperate need of help!
Miraculously Found
As the founder of Logan’s Legacy in Irvine, California, Hall has seen countless heartbreaking situations over the years, but this one left her particularly shattered. Right at the bottom of that deep canal lay a dog, completely motionless.
Though it was unclear how he ended up there, Hall recognized the dire state he was in. Fortunately, he was discovered just in time. “It was a miracle that he was even noticed way down deep in a canal,” Suzette expressed via social media.
He had been trapped there for an unknown duration, struggling to survive amidst the water and algae, with slick walls making escape virtually impossible. With the help of her friends Yvonne, Becky, and Lilly, Hall brought a ladder and carefully descended. They set up a humane trap filled with tasty treats near the dog. Two hours later, the dog, named Jeremiah, was safe!
“We believed and didn’t give up, and 2 hours later he was safe in my trap. A little tiny shivering miracle, I literally can’t stop crying,” Hall remarked.
Seeing the dog safe and sound in the passenger seat filled Hall with gratitude. She was overjoyed at the chance to help this little one start anew. Thanks to her and her wonderful team, Jeremiah now has a brand new lease on life!
Look At That Smile
In another update, Hall spread joy among Jeremiah’s followers. Following all the trials and uncertainty, this precious little pup was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he had no serious issues! Jeremiah was successfully neutered, had his dental work completed, and is now ready for a brand-new chapter. Most heartwarming of all, he can’t stop smiling!
“It was my pleasure to transport him to his new beginnings, and just look at that smile. He got neutered, dental work, and everything essential. Now he feels so much better,” Hall shared.
Jeremiah is eagerly awaiting his new adventure! When the time comes, he will undoubtedly make a wonderful companion to a suitable family, ready to learn all about love. Until then, this little guy will relish in the fact that he’s been rescued and is surrounded by the best caregivers!
