“Just A Small Baby”
When Chowder arrived at the Riverside County Department of Animal Services, he was just under eight weeks old. This cream and tan German Shepherd was brought to the shelter as a stray, and the moment he was placed in a large kennel, the sight of him sitting there lost and confused broke the hearts of the staff. The team from @savingriversideshelterdogs soon arrived at the shelter, and, upon witnessing his plight, they recorded the scene and shared it on Instagram, evoking tears and empathy from many viewers.
