The street is no place for a sweet, innocent animal, and the questions swirling in their minds are filled with worry: Where will I hide? What will I eat today? Will anybody notice my pain and lend a helping hand? Each one desires the same thing – to be embraced by a loving family. Unfortunately, the stray pup we’re about to meet had a tougher journey. Forced to fight for survival, she also endured intense pain due to a severe injury—a broken leg.
Things Are About To Change

When rescuers found her, she was resting in a busy parking lot, attempting to escape her agony by resting her head on the curb. Recognizing the dire situation, the rescuers reached out to Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy, a rescue organization in Irvine, California, knowing she had the experience to help this sweet girl.

Upon arrival, Hall instructed the rescuers to position themselves behind the pup to catch her if she attempted to flee into the street, then she gently approached and began to reassure the scared animal. After sweet talking and nurturing her, Hall was able to slip a leash around the pup’s head.
Fortunately, the pup was sweet and compliant. Hall promptly took her to the vet for treatment, while the rescuers searched for the pup’s previous owners.
Together Again
While looking into missing dog reports, Hall discovered a little pup named Maisie who closely resembled the one she had rescued. Upon contacting the owner, it was confirmed that this was indeed Maisie! Her owner hurried to the vet, and they were joyfully reunited after six long days apart.
Despite the shock and trauma, Maisie didn’t initially recognize her owner, but a familiar sniff revealed who she truly was. Overjoyed, she greeted her mama with endless kisses and an uncontrollable wagging tail.

Witnessing this touching reunion, Suzette Hall was reminded once more of the importance of her work. Kudos to all the caring individuals involved in this remarkable rescue! Thanks to their efforts, this family is whole once again.
Thank you!
