A mother dog and her puppies were abandoned at a deserted house in Arkansas when they needed love and care the most. Deeply concerned for her babies’ safety, the mother dog sought refuge for them beneath the house, where she tried to keep them hidden.
Overwhelmed with helplessness, she cuddled her puppies, drawing strength and determination to protect them in any way she could.
Joining Forces In Saving The Dog Family

When animal rescuer Shyan Noah saw a Facebook post about the abandoned dog family, she immediately rushed to the scene. Other rescuers had attempted to help, but the terrified mother was unwilling to accept their assistance. While she was distracted, the rescue team managed to secure a few of her puppies.
Upon Noah’s arrival, she noticed the distressed expression on the mother dog’s face and decided to earn her trust. Sitting beside her, Noah offered food and gentle reassurances, striving to convey her intentions of support.
Despite her urgent need for help, the mother dog hesitated to trust humans with her puppies. Noah persevered, gradually hand-feeding the dog, leading her to start relaxing amidst the situation.

Elated when the canine finally allowed her to touch her, Noah shared, “I was able to gain Mama’s trust enough to let me feed her out of my hand and give her short little pets,” speaking to The Dodo. Recognizing that the mother dog remained wary, the rescuers opted to set a humane trap to lure her in, and they rejoiced when they finally succeeded.
Once the mother dog was safe, focus shifted to the puppies, who also displayed fear, persistently hiding under the house and avoiding capture for several days.
Puppies Are Finally Secure

Fortunately, the rescuers managed to outsmart the little ones, bringing a sense of relief. The puppies, however, arrived infested with ticks and fleas and remained fearful and reactive towards their rescuers. With patience, the team began to gain their trust through food and affection, helping the frightened pups begin to feel secure.

One of the rescuers fell in love with the mother dog and adopted her, while Noah took the puppies into her care to foster them. These lively and playful pups are flourishing and bringing joy to their foster family, often escaping through the gates of their room to join everyone else in the house. “They are happy, healthy little escape artists,” Noah shared.
