When the lovable deaf Pit Bull named Evie was intently staring at a broken-down truck, her mom, Allison Thomison, initially thought nothing of it. Living on a 300-acre farm in rural Arizona, Evie often encountered wild animals like rattlesnakes or Gila monsters, so this behavior was not unusual. However, when Evie wouldn’t take her eyes off the truck Thomison’s husband was working on, Allison felt compelled to investigate.
Shocking Discovery

Thomison didn’t need to approach the truck to uncover what Evie was so focused on. To her astonishment, Evie was staring at a tiny cat, and Thomison recognized it immediately. A few weeks prior, she had seen a little kitten following her cat, Noodle, everywhere, and they looked nearly identical! Although Noodle was a neutered male, Thomison speculated whether the similarity was mere coincidence or if they were related.

Deciding to name the kitten Mini-Me, Thomison soon realized that Mini-Me had vanished again just as he had appeared on the farm until Evie uncovered his hiding spot.
Hide And Seek
As work was being done on the truck, the entire motor was removed, creating ample space for a kitten to nest comfortably inside. Of course, extracting Mini-Me from his newfound hideaway proved challenging, as he was initially suspicious and reluctant to move.
“He was very spicy … Then he suddenly realized that we were there to help him and we weren’t going to hurt him, so he came out,” Thomison told The Dodo.
Now a resident of the farm, Mini-Me enjoys causing a bit of mischief. Fortunately, he has quickly adapted to life with Thomison’s other three cats, and she humorously claims that Evie’s discovery of Mini-Me is the tale of how she ended up with another cat!

Despite Evie being the one to find him, Mini-Me still isn’t particularly fond of her, often swiping at Evie whenever he gets the chance. Mini-Me now enjoys the comforts of his loving home, which includes a cozy corner in an air-conditioned barn.
As a typical cat, he resists being told what to do or where to go. “He prefers his truck. He’s kind of like Oscar the Grouch [with] his little trash can … he just loves being in there,” Thomison remarked.
