Dolly, the sweet rescue puppy from Charlotte, North Carolina, was totally unprepared for what was about to happen.
But, as they say, surprises show up when you least expect them.
She was utterly bewildered.

Dolly wanted the world to hear her tale. A pup with such expressive skills needed her moment in the limelight.
Here’s what Dolly conveyed:
“There I was,” Dolly begins, “enjoying my tranquil time. I was sprawled out in my favorite spot—mom’s bed—chewing on a tasty bone. Everything was so delightful until suddenly… everything turned white!”
I paused for a moment, wondering if I had gone blind. Something enveloped me entirely. The next thing I knew, I leaped up, desperately trying to find an escape.
I spun left, then spun right. My thoughts were all jumbled. I was twirling like a whirlwind!
And then… BAM!
I landed on the floor.
That’s when I noticed a white sheet crumpled beneath me. Finally, I managed to wiggle free.
And there she stood: the traitor.
Brutus to my Caesar!
She was just there, laughing.
Apparently, she draped the sheet over me and was eagerly waiting to see what would unfold.
Well, I fell off the bed, mom!
How could you?” ends the poor Dolly.
“She wouldn’t leave the bed because she was preoccupied with her bone, so I thought that tossing the sheet over her would make her jump down. She didn’t; she was beneath it, savoring her bone for several minutes before I began filming,” said Charlotte-based mom Ashley Owens in an interview.
“I felt terrible when she fell, but it all happened so quickly that I couldn’t respond in time. She popped right back up though, and I knew she was fine,” added Ashley. “It did give me quite a scare.”
Thankfully, the only thing injured was Dolly’s pride because not only did Ashley’s friends view the clip of the hilarious tumble, but the entire TikTok community did as well!
Ashley found the incident amusing and shared the video online, which quickly went viral.
Seriously, Ashley? How could you do this?
Don’t worry, Dolly! We’re here for you, girl!
UPDATE:
After a bit, Dolly reported again, acknowledging that it wasn’t entirely her mom’s fault. She admitted she could have been a bit more graceful.
