The dog became aware of a helpless creature that required urgent assistance, a sentiment felt solely by him.
Whining For The Little One
Early in the morning, around 6 a.m., the Alabama owners were awakened by their puppy’s whining from the driveway, where their car was parked. Upon investigating, they found the dog still crying and gesturing towards the vehicle.
In a TikTok video shared by one of the dog’s owners, Savannah Piccini, under the handle @coastal.cowgirl, she reported that they searched everywhere but found nothing. Ultimately, they decided to try a different approach.
“He wouldn’t stop whining, so we decided to spray it with a hose,” she mentioned.
What followed was astonishing and proved the dog’s intuition. A small black kitten, which had been trapped inside the car the whole time, dashed out.
“This little thing ran out,” Savannah recounted in the video, referring to the tiny black kitten that had been trapped inside. She was overjoyed that the kitten was safe and expressed her gratitude towards her dog. Interestingly, this kitten marked the third baby animal she had rescued in just 35 days!
“It felt like someone was playing a joke on me, and my husband and I couldn’t stop laughing in disbelief,” Savannah shared in an interview with Newsweek. “I have been joking that every time I step outside, I somehow find more animals to rescue. I secretly love it.”
The dog shared in Savannah’s happiness, as his cries transformed into joyful tail wags upon seeing the kitten safe and sound.
