Upon reaching the veterinarian, the puppy, affectionately named Diesel, received a comprehensive examination.
The veterinarian diagnosed that this two-month-old Diesel was not only malnourished but also stressed and, regrettably, had a fractured paw.
Quickly, the vet put a cast on him, which was a breeze since little Diesel behaved exceptionally well.
Additionally, the vet discovered that Diesel had an issue with his vision—a condition that would require surgical intervention.
However, the immediate priority was to ensure he received essential vitamins and minerals. Due to not eating for two days, the vet administered a nutritional infusion.
Improvement in Health
Within just a couple of days at the veterinarian, Diesel began to show signs of recovery. By the end of the week, his appetite returned, and he was able to eat unassisted.
After a month of recovery, Diesel had fully healed. His paw mended well enough for the cast to be removed, and his vision returned to normal.
He will continue to receive care at the veterinarian’s office until he’s ready to be adopted into a loving home that will provide him the life he truly deserves.
