A New Hope for the Pup
A cyclist passing through the area felt a wave of sadness upon spotting the little abandoned pup.
He returned regularly for two months, bringing food and support. The pup sensed he was a kind soul, and the two quickly formed a strong bond.
Each time, the dog looked forward to their meetings at the roadside, eagerly wagging his tail and greeting his friend with a joyful expression.

He then brought the rescuer back to the hill.

Receiving Essential Care
The pup was promptly taken to a veterinary clinic.

He had a wound on his tail, which required shaving part of the fur for treatment. His tail’s resemblance to a lion’s tail inspired the name Leo.
Aside from being a little underweight and having fleas, Leo was deemed to be in relatively good health.
