One inspiring tale originates from Oregon. After enduring a series of traumatic events, a delightful pup named Rogue was in recovery, still without a home and filled with fear. Then, one fateful day, she spotted her soulmate, and everything turned around!
From Emergency Clinic to a Loving Home
Rogue defied the odds and survived a drive-by shooting. While in a car with her siblings, she was shot in the paw and was the sole survivor.
“The dogs were in the car, and Rogue was the only one that survived,” Katie shared with Cuddle Buddies.
In just a single day, Rogue lost all that she had ever known. Her life was entirely turned upside down, leaving her with deep-seated trauma.
Katie, a woman from McMinnville, Oregon, stumbled upon Rogue at the emergency clinic while taking her English Bulldog, Chubz, in for treatment. From the moment she entered, Katie felt an undeniable bond with Rogue.
Despite her dreadful circumstances, Rogue reciprocated Katie’s affection! Whenever Katie and Chubz were nearby, Rogue would shine, becoming a whole new dog.
